Yasemin Taşkın, 1982 yılında Doğu Karadeniz'in kıyısında küçük bir ilçede doğdu. Bölgenin özgün coğrafyası ve kültürü ile manzarasındaki ilk fotoğraflar olan çay tarlaları ve onlara emek veren insanlar, daha sonra fotoğraf ve video üretimi için ilk ilham kaynakları oldular. Marmara Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi’nde Sinema-TV okudu. Sanatsal ortamları, günlük hayatın belgesel fotoğrafçılığı ve videografisidir. Son altı yıldır çeşitli markalar için serbest içerik yaratıcısı olarak çalışıyor. Doğal ışıkla çalışmayı, sahneler ve stiller yaratmayı ve onları kendine özgü görsel stiliyle tanıtmayı seviyor.

Yasemin Taşkın was born in 1982 in a small hamlet on the Black Sea's southeast coast, where her aesthetic point of view is anchored in the region's wonderful scenery and culture. The tea fields and the people who labor in them, which are the first photos in her landscape, became her most inspiring settings for photography and video creation later on. Her childhood and early adulthood, however, were spent in Istanbul, where she completed her schooling. Marmara Fine Arts University was where she studied cinema. Her artistic mediums are documentary photography and videography of everyday life. For the past four years, she has worked as a freelance content creator for several brands. She enjoys working with natural light, creating sceneries and styles, and promoting them through her distinctive visual style.
